Birmingham Local Conservative call for West Midlands Police to release ethnicity data in grooming gangs cases.

Following the evidence given to the Education, Children and Young People Overview and Scrutiny Committee yesterday Chair Cllr Matt Bennett has written to West Midlands Police demanding the Police set out a timetable for completing ethnicity data before the end of the year, explain why they have failed to do it so far, provide measurable milestones to the committee, change their approach to withholding such key data, confirm what ethnicity data the Police hold and explain what has changed since the 2015 West Midlands Police CSE Problem profile.
