Say no to 21% Council tax rise - Sign our petition below

Following Birmingham's Labour administration declaring the council effectively bankrupt after 12 years of Labour rule, they have announced they are looking to raise council tax by 10% both this year and next.

This equals a 21% rise over two years! Council tax rates are set by each local authority as part of their budget-setting process. Therefore the Labour Council will be taking their proposed council tax increase to the city council budget meeting at the end of February.

Labour's unfair decision to raise council tax, to pay for the failings of the labour administration, will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the standard of living of all Birmingham residents.

Birmingham Labour have created this financial mess and the people of Birmingham should not be penalised for Labour's mistakes!

We've launched a petition to oppose the planned rise in council tax to bail Labour out of their mess they have made for themselves. Please sign below and share on social media, and with friends and family!

Keep Council Tax down
